He was born in Montreal in 1774, the son of Pierre Guy 1738 1812 Pierre Guy , studied at the Coll ge de Montr al Coll ge Saint Rapha l and then spent a bit over a year at the Princeton University College of New Jersey . In 1796, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada in Montreal County, Quebec Montreal County . Guy qualified to practice as a surveyor in 1798. He also served in the local militia during the War of 1812 , later becoming lieutenant colonel. He died at Montreal in 1820. His brother, Louis Guy , practiced as a surveyor and notary and was a member of the legislative council. President and owner of the fictional SCTV network, Caballero usually appeared on the series to introduce various network programs, although he also occasionally got wrapped up in behind the scenes storylines. Character Cheap, dishonest, gruff, and prone to making meandering patriotic speeches for no good reason, Caballero liked to affectionately describe his employees as the SCTV family, although he routinely treated them with disdain. His most notable quirk, however, was his use of a wheelchair despite not needing one he believed that the wheelchair helped earn people s respect .
