   1. (Bot.) A large tree of the genus Swietenia (Swietenia
      Mahogoni), found in tropical America.

         (Khaya Senegalensis), Australian mahogany
         (Eucalyptus marginatus), Bastard mahogany (Batonia

         Chukrassia), Madeira mahogany (Persea Indica),
